This policy explains the technologies used on the Enigma website and distinguishes them from data stored by the mobile application.
2. Website cookies
The current website does not implement advertising cookies, a user login, or cookies for remembering language preferences. The language of legal documents is selected through the page URL.
3. Website analytics
The website integrates Vercel Web Analytics, which records website visits when enabled for the production deployment. We do not integrate Google Analytics or advertising trackers.
According to Vercel's documentation, Web Analytics uses aggregate visit data and does not use third-party cookies. Visit data can include the page, referring site, browser, device type, and approximate location.
4. Mobile application storage
The Enigma mobile app stores puzzle progress, results, statistics, and preferences locally on your device. This is separate from the website and is not a website cookie. Progress is not currently synchronized between devices.
5. Your browser settings
You can manage cookies and website data in your browser's privacy settings. Removing website data does not reset saved progress in the Enigma mobile app.
